Job Description

Job Objective / Summary:	Deliver tax audit and consulting services to clients, while ensuring compliance with local legislation and professional and quality standards. The role also includes seamless follow-up with the Ministry of Finance to ensure that the engagement cycle is properly completed and closed.
Job Responsibilities:	References Keep up to date with the latest standards, regulations, and professional developments to ensure the application of best practices in tax audit and consulting services. Contribute to the development of in-house tax audit and consulting methodologies and tools in a way that enhances efficiency and service quality. Engagements Implement tax audit and consulting engagements for clients. Execute fieldwork including: Gathering information, conducting meetings and examining supporting documents and evidence Periodic follow-up with clients to notify them of the inspection status of their tax files withthe Ministry of Finance. Attend the tax inspections with tax file inspectors at the Ministry of Finance. Follow up with the Ministry of Finance for tax filings and submissions for clients. Prepare draft tax reports (deliverables) and submit them to direct manager for approval. Perform filing activities of electronic archiving and hardcopy engagement files.
Qualifications:	Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Professional Certificates:	Not required.
Experience:	Minimum experience of 2 – 3 years in tax audit and consulting services in audit firms in Kuwait.
Skills:	Knowledge of tax legislations applicable in the State of Kuwait. Knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISA). Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication and follow-up skills. Ability to draft reports and presentations in both Arabic and English.
