Job Description

Job Objective / Summary Perform translation assignments and assist in conducting quality review of engagement deliverables including official letters, proposals and engagement letters.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in translation or English language
Professional Certificates Not applicable
Experience 5 – 7 years of experience in translation
Experience with international audit firms is preferable.
Job Responsibilities
  1. Job responsibilities related to the translation assignments:
    Translate different documents from Arabic into English and vice versa, including:
    • Financial statements
    • Reports
    • Webpages
    • Internal circulars
    • Posts on social media and professional networks
    • Any other documents based on the business requirements
  2. Job responsibilities related to the quality review of deliverables:
    Review the official letters, proposal, engagement letters and engagement deliverables as per the applicable policies and procedures
  3. Perform any other tasks that may be assigned to them by the direct manager.
Knowledge
  1. General knowledge in different disciplines, particularly those related to business sectors
  2. Principles of translation and applied linguistics
Technical Skills
  1. Translation of documents based on form and substance principle
  2. Understanding and grasping the text to be translated
  3. Understanding and grasping terminology and glossary used in different disciplines
Mandatory Requirements Transferable residency.
