Labor Law no. 6 of 2010 in the private sector has been issued and undergone some changes on 2017 and 2018. The law aims to create a fair balance between the interests of the labourers and their protection on one hand, and that of the employers on the other hand, due to the positive effects of this on both the individual and community.
Law No.6 of 2010 on employment in the private sector has been issued in Kuwait consisting of (150) article divided into seven main chapters on general provisions, employment, apprenticeship and vocational training, individual work contract, labor system & conditions and labor inspection and penalties.
