Mr. Mohammed Hamed Al-Sultan is Senior Partner in Baker Tilly in Kuwait. His primary areas of expertise include accounting, audit and tax.
Mr. Al-Sultan held key accounting positions in leading governmental organizations and private companies such Kuwait Airways Corporation and Zain. Subsequently, he joined Grant Thornton and BDO before joining Baker Tilly in Kuwait in 2014.
Mr. Al-Sultan holds a bachelor degree in Accounting. He is licensed auditor registered in Ministry of Commerce & Industry and Capital Markets Authority. He acquired a wide experience of more than 40 years in accounting and audit practice leading teams that implemented audit, assurance and tax assignments for clients operating in different industries and sectors.
Mr. Ali Al-Hamad is Senior Partner in Baker Tilly in Kuwait. His primary areas of expertise include accounting, audit and Information Technology.
Mr. Al-Hamad held key positions in leading organizations in the private sector in both USA and Kuwait before joining Baker Tilly in Kuwait in 2019.
Mr. Al-Hamad is a member in number of professional associations like Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions, Institute of Internal Auditors and the Association of Accountants and Auditors in Kuwait.
Mr. Al-Hamad holds a bachelor degree in Accounting. He is licensed auditor registered in Ministry of Commerce & Industry and Capital Markets Authority. He is also a holder of a number of the professional certificates like Certified Internal Audition (CIA), Certified Islamic Public Accountant (CIPA) and Information Security Management System Lead Auditor.
Mr. Hisham Sorour has in-depth experience of more than 35 years in assurance, tax and consulting domains where he led teams that achieved assignments for clients from public and private sectors.
Mr. Sorour is a member of the Constituent Board of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Kuwait Chapter – Under Incorporation.
Mr. Sorour worked for reputable services and retail companies in accounting function in Egypt and Kuwait. Subsequently, he joined KPMG and Global Consultants Company before joining Baker Tilly in Kuwait in 2002.
Mr. Sorour holds a bachelor degree in accounting as well as a number of professional certificates in accounting and governance.
Mr. Sorour is the Managing Partner in Baker Tilly in Kuwait.
Mrs. Manal Mohsen enjoys a 22 years of solid practical and professional experience as she worked in diverse sectors in Egypt and Kuwait. Before moving to Kuwait, she worked for high profile retail companies in Egypt. In Kuwait, she worked in governmental organization and then joined Global Consultants Company before joining Baker Tilly in Kuwait.
Mrs. Mohsen holds a bachelor degree in Psychology from Cairo University in addition to her attendance of a number of training and professional programs that enabled her to have a wide expertise in diverse areas including, but not limited to management consulting, professional career development services and project management as she gained her expertise through supervising a number of large projects.
Mrs. Mohsen is the Deputy Managing Partner for Training and Supporting Services.
Mrs. Farida Shaker joined the firm since 2002. Her main role is overseeing assurance and consulting division. Over more than 21 year, she led hundreds of projects in different discipline that include audit, AUP, ICR, internal audit, tax, accounting services, investment advisory, management consulting, ICT consulting and risk management. She has wide exposure to all public, oil companies and private sector industries in Kuwait whether listed or unlisted companies.
Mrs. Shaker holds a bachelor degree in electronics and telecommunication engineering, followed by master in business administration major in Finance, as well as professional certificates such as certified information system audit, certified lead auditor, certified in risk management, certified business valuation analyst and many other professional studies.
Mrs. Shaker is a Partner of the assurance and consulting division in Baker Tilly in Kuwait. Her primary areas of expertise include audit, assurance, tax and business consulting.
