Job Description
| Job Objective / Summary |
Carry out accounting entries and periodical reconciliations and prepare unaudited financial statements as per the approved chart of accounts using accounting software. |
| Qualifications |
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent |
| Professional Certificates |
Professional Certificates are an extra advantage, e.g., a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) Certificate or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certificate |
| Experience |
5 – 7 years of experience in the accounting domain |
| Job Responsibilities |
- Review the financial documents, ensure that they are approved as per the Delegation of Authority Matrix, prepare the accounting entries, and post them on the accounting software as per the approved chart of accounts.
- Review and issue engagement invoices to the clients.
- Review the monthly accounts receivable reports and follow up on collections with the Collection Officer on a weekly basis.
- Review the monthly accounts payable reports and follow up payments thereof as per the approved settlement regulations.
- Prepare cheques, bank transfers, and bank guarantees.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and depreciation of fixed assets.

- International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Companies Law No. 1 of 2016 and its Executive Regulations, as amended.
- Private Sector Labor Law No. 6 of 2010 and its Executive Regulations, as amended

- Preparing and reconciling financial documents
- Carrying out accounting reconciliations
- Preparing and reconciling accounts receivable and accounts payable reports

| Mandatory Requirements |
- The required experience should be within the State of Kuwait
- Transferable residency.
